What does KudosNest do?
It helps with two jobs. Chores: give each child a daily list, your child taps done, you approve, and points turn into rewards you choose. Homework: take a photo of a math page and see which answers look right or wrong, with a short note for you on each mistake.
Which homework can it check?
Math only, for now. Other subjects are not supported yet.
Can the AI make mistakes?
Yes. It can misread handwriting or judge a question wrongly. When it is not sure, it marks the question "please check" for you. You can change any result, and your correction is what counts. Treat it as a helper, not the final word.
Will my child see the answers?
No. Results and correct answers are shown only in parent mode. In child mode, Roo gives up to 3 hints per question, written as questions that point the way, never the answer.
How do I connect my child's phone or tablet?
In parent mode, choose Pair a device for your child. You get a 6-digit code (also shown as a QR code) that works for 15 minutes. On your child's device, install KudosNest, tap "I'm a kid", enter or scan the code, and your child picks a 4-number PIN. Your child does not need an email. You can see and remove paired devices at any time. No second device? Switch your own phone to child mode; going back to parent mode needs a grown-up check.
Does KudosNest lock my child's screen?
No. Screen time can be a reward, and the app keeps count of the minutes earned and used. KudosNest never locks or controls a device: you decide when screen time happens.
What happens to homework photos?
Page photos are deleted from our servers within 24 hours; the results stay in your family's history. Chore photos taken on your child's device are checked on the device for faces first, and are also deleted within 24 hours. Your data is never used to train AI. The app also keeps the page photo on the parent's phone that took it, so you can compare results later; we cannot see that copy, and you can delete it at any time.
How much does it cost?
Free: up to 2 kids and unlimited chores. In your first 30 days, AI checks up to 10 homework pages and Roo gives hints on 30 questions; after that there is no AI on Free, and you look at chore photos yourself. Family: $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year for founding families, who keep that price as long as they stay subscribed, for unlimited kids and about 150 homework pages a month (up to 20 a day). One price covers the whole family. You pay through the App Store or Google Play and can cancel any time in your store account settings.
Can both parents use it?
Yes, on the Family plan. The parent who created the account makes a one-time invite code in the app, and the other parent signs up with it.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Español, Français, Tiếng Việt. Each child can use their own language, separate from yours.
How do I delete our data?
In the app, in parent mode, you can delete one child's data or the whole family and account. It is deleted at once. If you can no longer open the app, you can ask us by email. Backups are cleared within 30 days.
Are there ads or tracking?
No ads, no tracking tools, and we never sell data. Children never type in the app: they use buttons only.
